Provide support to service mechanics and perform duties such as changing oil and tires, replacing hoses and belts, inspecting brakes, and helping to diagnose vehicle issues.

Maintain in order and cleanest the work area, use and conserve the equipment and tools in the service workshop in good conditions.
Establish the necessary measure to safeguard the assets and interests of the company.
Provide a quality service for the internal and external customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provided assistance with oil and filter changes for engines, transmissions and hydraulic systems.
Maintained fluid levels; chassis and equipment lubrication; and gasoline engine tune-ups, tires and cleaning and replacement of battery terminals.
Carries tools and equipment to and from storage and working areas.
Assists the Automotive Mechanic with basic service maintenance work and in the repair of gasoline and internal combustion engines
Checks batteries and fluid levels in equipment and replaces or replenishes as needed
Performs lubrication and related maintenance
Repairs flat tires and tubes
Picks up supplies and parts from vendors or suppliers as necessary.
JOB PROFILE
LEVEL OF EDUCATION: HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR THE EQUIVALENT
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
2 years of experience minimum as a mechanic helper
Proven field service experience
Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
Familiarity with mobile tools and applications
Extensive knowledge of automotive industry and parts
Ability to effectively communicate verbally
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
General knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle mechanical operations
