     PORTER CAR WASH DEPT

1. JOB SUMMARY

• Moves and cleans vehicles, keeps the vehicles in sound working condition, and helps Porter manager as requested. 
• Coordinate and ensure that all cars are well-maintained, in excellent working condition and clean for effective merchandising to customers.

1. ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Maintains new- and used-vehicle inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and replacing batteries when necessary.
• Places buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
• Keeps new- and used-vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Sweeps, shovels or vacuums loose debris or salvageable scrap into containers and removes containers from work areas.
• Inspects parts, equipment, or vehicles for cleanliness, damage, and compliance with standards or regulations.
• Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Makes key tags for vehicles.
• Other tasks as assigned.
• Administrate and coordinate the department resources.

1. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and take care the work tools and materials.
• Provide a quality service for the internal and external customers.
• Perform their duties with a sense of mutual respect, ethical, collaboration, tolerance and positive attitude toward their peers.
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Cleaning, washing, polishing and put all the new vehicles in order in the company patio.
• Make constantly the clean and check the vehicles.
• Washing and vacuuming the vehicles that will be delivered to the customer.
• Polishing and waxing the body of the vehicles that will be delivered to the customer.
• Maintain the work area in order and clean.
• Receive the keys from the mechanics for make the car wash.
• Washing, cleaning and vacuuming the vehicles that just finish the mechanic service.
• Make reports of the daily activities.
• Supports Porters Manager in any activities is required.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• One year of dealership or car wash experience (not required but preferred).
• Flexible.
• Able to work and complete tasks independently.
• Willingness to receive instructions and follow rules.
• Able to work efficiently and quickly to satisfy customer expectations.
• Excellent customer service skills.
